Interposing CT

Hi All,

I have a question. I want to change the CT secondary 1A to 5A by placing an Interposing CT in between the Ct and the relay. What will be the impact of that ICT in terms of performance of Protection relay and second, can any one assist me for formulating the stability calculations?

Given a relaying application, you might contact your auxiliary-CT producer. They are probably going to want burden/impedance data from both sides of the transfomer to adequately answer your questions.
