I am designing a building that needs to comply with the British Standard for wind loads: BS 6399-2:1997. I am trying to determine the "Building-type factor Kb". However the descriptions of the types of building are confusing to me. I have a 3 story structure with steel moment frames. I assume that this would be considered a "Portal shed". But I do not understand what types of builings would fall under "Welded steel unclad frames" and "Bolted steel and reinforced conrete unclad frames". Can someone enlighten me. Thanks.
