Intralink UG model Object Import

I am on Intralink 3.2 and I am trying to Object>Import a Unigraphics file into my Intralink Workspace. I immediately get a message panel saying "an error occurred on Import/Export".

I have this bug fixed on an earlier install. I cant seem to get it to work again on the new machine. Im on Win2k. Does anyone now how to tweak the system to get around this?

I know it can be done because my older install works. But even copying the install to the new machine doesnt work. I suspect theres an Enviroment variable or something that needs adjusted.
