intralink

i have obtained a copy of intralink for testing
the problem is when i run set up i get the opening screen
with the ptc logo at top and the exit button at bottom everything else is grayed out.

Bad copy? or because i want to try before i buy im having this problem?

What version of Intralink, 3.4 or 8?

Intralink 8 is a lot harder to setup and requires Oracle and maybe some other third-party apps be installed first.

What was the source of the copy of Intralink? Was it a PTC CD?

A while back I was fielding a support call for a client who had a similar install problem, though not exactly the same. After a while I figured out that he was trying to install a pirated copy of Pro/E which was corrupted.
