Because an invalid storage manager mark identifier was specified? [glasses]

Seriously though, your best bet for these obscure error messages is to contact GTAC; especially if you can reproduce the behavior.

Storage manager errors are serious errors and prt files should not be saved at that point; I believe you risk prt corruption if you do.

Software but really it is an issue with the prt file. If you receive the error and restart NX you probably accomplish what you were trying to do when the error occurred and you will not see that error again. To me, it seems like storage errors and memory access errors occur when the NX session has been running a long time.

I don't think i have seen a case where the file got corrupted and couldn't be opened when this happened.
But, to play it safe one maybe shouldn't save when this has happened.

The storage manager is "the registry of NX", where NX keeps track of all objects.
and as Tingsryd says, if one runs NX for a very long time, this can happen .
( - the same reason why one must shutdown windows completely .)
And, you probably cannot repeat this error.
IF you can, Call GTAC.

Tomas
