My Company have recently adopted the Autodesk range of products after many years of using Solidworks and Microstation and our parent company is insisting on our use of Teamcenter to manage design data.
I have read in the TCAI User manual that TC can manage Inventor Templates and it goes on to talk about how to 'Save Inventor Templates with TCAI' however when I follow these vague instructions all I manage to save is a blank Part, ASSY, Drawing or Presentation file. TCAI does not display these with a "T" in the dataset type icon as the document claims and I cannot find how to 'Declare the Template IDs'.
What am I missing? I am hoping someone out there has experience with TCAI and can help me out?? I will no doubt have other issues as time goes on (likely working with Library Parts and Content Center), but getting the Templates setup in TC so all on site can use the correct one is my first priority.
Any help will be much appreciated.
