inventor shuts down

I updated windows yesterday via the update button, everything went fine until i opened inventor. It opened fine but when i went to open a project file it shut down with an windows error message saying "the instruction at 0x05066744 referenced memory at 0x050d2218. the memory could not "read""
anyone got any clues

Unfortunately windows will have automatically selected a new driver for the video card in your PC.

It is most likely that the driver is not certified for Inventor.

If you have XP you should be able to roll the driver back to the previous version...that should cure the problem.
