Good morning,
I have a question regarding the sub-synchronous characteristics of inverter based generators.
The project is a wind farm utilizing Vestas V126 turbines. These turbines have a conventional generator connected to the turbine hub, but use an AC-DC-AC conversion before injecting power into the grid. My question is - does this power conversion negate the sub-synchronous generator characteristics?
Thank you in advance for your help!
