Plotting to .tiff with ACAD14, I can only get white lines on black background. Plotting to any other target works fine, only tiff. Any ideas? (I use white background / blcak lines on display. I thought of reversing that but couldn't find how.)

To BeartheHairless - sympathize totally but am sure ACAD must be able to do it, USPTO recommends this as procedure. I have Paintshop Pro, but it destroys resolution of good tiff images if I try to "invert" them. Possibly your resolution issue has to do with drawing size v.s. plot area. Take a copy and try scaling everything larger?

Hi

To reverse the screen colours you should look under TOOLS/OPTIONS/DISPLAY/COLOURS, I use a black background and always have to change it to a white background when I export TIFF too.

Hope this helps

Welshman:

Thanks for the tips. That got my display background reversed alright. However, made no difference to the tiff plotting. What did fix it was to change export image settings from 800 x 600 to MAX. That leaves the image with enough resolution that PaintshopPro doesn't loose too much when it works on it. Am now using PSP to rotate and invert the images and edit out crop marks etc.

Now working anyway. Cheers.

Getting usable resolution on TIFF's directly out of R14 has been a problem. Where are you setting resolution to MAX? I see the option to set resolution when configuring the printer driver "Raster File Export ADI 4.3", however MAX resolution is not one of the optional settings. Please outline your preferences. Thanks in advance.
