Hello,

I am having trouble using the text in the AutoCad 2002 version. When using the text command, I specify the text window and the text editor window opens. When I try to type text in that window the text is invisible and the only way I can see it is if I highlight it.
Any thoughts?

Thanks

Hi Exxit,

No my text color is set to Bylayer and the Bylayer color is white. The background color is black.

Can you attach a file here in the forum?

If I recall, it may have something to do with Windows Display Properties > Appearance > Effects > Smooth edges ?
Rt-clk on your desktop.

ok, yes, but it is the "mtext" command, not "text".

Thanks Ipseifert! It worked. To clarify it was right click on the desktop>properties>appearance>effects>uncheck smooth edges.

Thanks to all
