Hi, I was wondering if ASME gives some suggestion about location of inyection point in piping systems??? is a good practice choose an elbow as a location??

Unless, somehow, the specific location of an injection point had an impact on the pressure integrity of the piping, ASME has no opinion about about such details. This is a process issue, and not the purvue of the design Codes.

If your injection fluid is of a significantly different temperature than the fluid into which it is being injected, then there may be concerns for high-cycle thermal fatigue. However, the piping Codes only tell you THAT you have to consider it, not HOW to consider it.
 
Also look at API-570. It has a lot of requirements for on-stream monitoring of injection points. You can infer the necessary requirements from that.

I agree, ASME B31.1 & B31.3 are silent on injection.
