I am designing a new product for my company and am having some issues finding something to work. I have limited space to work with and drawing blanks on new ideas.

My application in for flow cut off. I am hooking a 3" hose up to my unit, with the other end connected to a container, and need to be able to open and close the flow. I was thinking of the iris valve, or a wafer valve (I think thats what it is called) with a tension spring or something like that.

I know I am not so good with the explanation but any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Joe
