Anyone have any good solutions for High Iron removal from ground water?

As you can see by that thread there is lots more info needed to know what you are looking for. When you say "High Iron removal", how high is high? What form is the iron in- ferric, ferrous or both? Is there iron bacteria present? What is the complete water analysis and what water quality do you want to achieve? Is your application residential or commercial/industrial or otherwise?

One method of treating for iron removal that works best in any particular application may not work best in another.

Iron removal application data I have thus far is:

100,000 gpd
Ground water Fe level 25 ppm
Treated Water needs to be <0.3 ppm
pH 6.7
 
If you've got the space - aeration then slow sand filtration. If your limited for space, ozone then pressure filters. Iron will floculate and filter out quite easily.
 
If Iron Bacteria are also present then you will find that the Ozone process will be better or you can, instead, feed chlorine or another disinfectant to oxidize the iron and take care of the bacteria. I prefer multi-media (sand/anthracite) pressure filters over slow sand. In any case, in addition to aeration, ozone or other disinfectants you will need a retention tank to allow sufficient contact time prior to filtration. You may also require a coagulant or flocculant or a combination of those 2 prior to filtration.

Aeration will take out the bulk of the iron out. I use an aerator into a coagulation/flocculation/sedimentation basin and finished up with multi-media gravity filters. If your aerator is working properly you should need very little chlorine other than what is needed for your required residual. Our raw water iron is about 8 ppm.
