is any way to create an associative component mirror in assembly?

Greetings

often im facing with assemblies that they need mirror components. "Position associativity" is a major need for design changes. mirror assembly looks very old and is not associative in positioning. the components loose constraints and become full free DOF.
this leads me to use circular component pattern in some cases or import much more components with excess constraining. im wondering because mirror feature, mirror face and mirror geometry behave differently.

before NX i used to be work with solidworks and did not encountered such problem.

so whats the solution or method for postioning components that can be mirrored and position correctly and update respect to source component position and selected mirror plane?

best regards

NX still does not have associated positioning for mirror assemblies. We also have lots of mirror assemblies. We create separate file (named for eg. RL-component_name.prt) and there create associated mirrored assembly via WAVE linking. It works, but with issues. Mirror geometry updates immediately after main component changes, but position of the mirrored component is updated only then the file RL_component_name.prt is opened. A little bit frustrating, but its the only way to have associated mirror assembly.

thanks, maybe in next version they fix it.
