Is C110 nace compliant? 1

I'm still learning my way through NACE (well we use ISO 15156 2009), I cannot find any direct reference to C-110 but there is a general consensus around these parts that it is NACE compliant. As I understand 15156 2009 is the latest version, is there anywhere else where I can find official status of c110?

Only for small values of NACE.

OK, a bit of a joke, but you need to check out the latest API 5CT. They have introduced some sour service testing with a restricted temperature and lower H2S concentration for C110. I am not sure 15156 has been revised to include this new testing, yet. This is very new (in the past 2 or 3 years), but depending on the environment, there does seem to be some qualification testing performed.

There is no direct reference, but compliance criteria are directed by Part 2, Table A.3, sub-subclause A.2.2.3.3. The testing in API Spec 5CT is for quality control purposes and not to be confused with the qualification requirements of ISO 15156-2 - note the difference in the stress levels between the documents: one is based on actual yield strength and the other is using specified minimum yield strength. The general consensus around those parts needs to be backed up by the data.

So under para A.2.2.3.3 it only states max hardness 26hrc, for UNS G41XX0, but no ref to SMYS or Max YS?
Is C110 part of UNS G41XX0?
Does Para A.2.2.3.2 apply also as that has min and max yield specified?

This is V confusing, I was once pretty good at reading/understanding standards I think old age/dementia has got me..
 
Indeed, the maximum hardness is restricted to 26 HRC should you wish to deploy C110 at service temperatures below 65 deg C (directed by column 1 of Table A.3). The reference to SMYS and AYS pertains to the different test parameters for quality control and qualification SSC testing (the stressing level of the tensile test piece). If you are sure that the material will not see sour service below 65 deg C, then you can apply A.2.2.3.2. With up to 1.5 mass% Cr and 1 mass % Mo, it would appear that C110 is in a position to gain a UNS number in the G41XXX series as per ASTM E527.
