I had answer to the meaning (at least the meaning/definition given by NACE in ISO 10156, thanks to Eng-Tips) of Wrought.

Now the question is

1) As per ASTM terminology, is A 105 forged flange considered Wrought?
2)Is there an official definition given for Wrought Product in ASTM?
3) is a pipe Cap made from a plate and made to A 234 wpb wrought product? (As per ASTM standard)

Wrought means deformed, as during the processes: forging, extrusion, rolling, etc.

1) A forged flange is wrought.

2) The two closest ASTM terminology standards (E 6 & E 7) don't define wrought.

3) Maybe

Ans to question 3) yes.

If you review ASME SA-234 (identitical to ASTM A-234), the plate used to form the pipe cap must be wrought product form - cast welding fittings or fittings machined from castings (I would include cast plate) are not covered by A-234 -see ASTM A-216 and A-217.
