is it possible to convert solid model to sheet metal in NX! 1

i was created this item previous year using solidworks using surfaces then giving some thickness to it!
but now my company recently shifted to NX and i have atep file of this model and they are asking me to give develop a sheet metal drawing for it, is it possible to convert this available step file model to sheet metal in NX!.
and also please let me know where i can obtain good knowledge of sheet metals , i'm still a beginner for sheet metals

Yes, set your application to Sheet Metal
MENU -> INSERT -> CONVERT -> CONVERT TO SHEET METAL
What I see should convert fine, and then a flat pattern can be created or the part edited.
