Hello,

I have an analysis completed with a UMAT in which I have defined solution dependent state variables (SDVs) and these are available in the ODB. The values are unique for each integration point. I want to import one of these SDVs for use in the same UMAT of another model with the same mesh but different loading conditions. In other words, I want to initialize one particular SDV in the new model with the values computed for that SDV at each integration point of the old model (which is available in the ODB of the old model). Please let me know if anyone has knowledge on how to do this. Thanks!

Maybe the UEXTERNALDB subroutine could be used for this purpose. Check its description in the documentation.
