is it possible in catia to make a plot file?i know in ug i created one but it is totally different in catia.the catia station is on unix,is there a plot q setup or something.can someone help

Yes.
A file (postscript) is generated and can be found in /tmp.
The file will be named "catout.$USER.ps"

or select to print in HPGL/2 format
(click on "list" in PRINT ENVIRONMENT and "select plot device")

You can also SAVE AS to PDF (and many other formats).
