You have not provided enough information for anyone to respond with a comprehensive answer. However, I would say that the answer is NO if you are talking about converting an existing engine, rather than swapping the IDI engine for a DI.
If you were to convert the existing IDI engine, you would be getting into near impossible problems with no easy or cheap solutions.
