Is JIC 37° Flare piping suitable for thermal fluids?

I have a hot oil unit that will be producing low pressures(100psi) and flow rates (10gpm) at up to 450F. For 1/2" piping, socket weld seems over-kill, but I also do not want to use threaded NPT. Is there anything wrong with using regular JIC seamless, stainless tubing and fittings?

It's not going to be rapidly cycled, and all piping is indoors, so I think fatigue stress will be at a minimum.

Why not a double ferreled fitting (like Swagelok).
There are also flared fittings that are for higher reliability service.
Go with seamless if you want, no reason to not use welded tubing in this service.
