I would like to ask if any body has specific experience with Pitot tube pumps. I would like to replace a plunger pump which is a nightmare for us due to its maintenance requirement, vibration, noise, etc. The flow is 20 m3/hr with a head 1600 m. The fluid is very clean water with a temperature 70 Deg c.

Best Regards,

Yes, pitot tube pumps, such as Rotojet, are great replacements if the water is very clean and cool. Be prepared for sticker shock.

I replaced a lot of piston pumps at chicken plants in cleaning applications with these pumps. They always did very well.
