Is the methodology BIM commonly used outside Spain?

Hi everyone,

I'm a Building Engineer student from Spain and I am quite interested in everything related to BIM methodology. Here in Spain the use of this methodology in any project or construction process is increasing a lot as time goes, and I would like to know if it is used in the rest of the world and which programs in particular.

Any coments is greatly appreciated.
