Is There a Standard for Bending Yield Test of Threaded Fasteners? 1

I was asked to perform a three point bending yield test on long threaded fasteners (screws), but the only standard I could find was for nails (ASTM F1575). I'm wondering if this standard will apply, or if I need to find something else entirely. Given the asymmetry of fasteners (different thread lengths, shoulder lengths, thread patterns etc.), I would assume that results could very greatly between individual tests. Any insight would be greatly appreciated...

From what I've gathered from our fastener guy, it seems like you do a regular three point test with the load point at the transition zone between smooth shank and thread (for partially threaded fasteners). I'm wondering how you prevent deformation of the threads at the two bearing points? Also, for a fully threaded fastener how do you prevent deformation of the threads at the load point?
 
Not a fatigue test, just a bending yield strength test.
