Hello,

Different manufacturer of gaskets seem to use different codes for the different gaskets for heat exchnager.
Is there a standard ?
I know of the TEMA standard of course (ie the 3 code letters for the front/ body /and rear) but when it comes to gasketing it seems a bit confusing.

Some manufacturer use a one letter code for the shape of the gasket and one additional number for the position of the gasket within the heat exchnager (front/shell or rear shell or front head, etc...). But not all manufacturer and sometimes different manufacturers codes are not matching.

May be TEMA or another association made also a standard for the gaskets similar to the one they have for the different types ?
But I can't find anything ?
Thanks for help.
