Hello,

It's been a while since I've used Pro/E for drafting and was wondering if there is, has been or ever will be an option to set text to display as strike thru text with a line thru it?

It's easy enough on Eng-Tips see below
EXAMPLE STRIKE THRU TEXT

Hopefully there is a way to do this easy enough on Pro/E but I never remember doing it.

Never seen anything like it, don't expect to ever see anything that handy.

I've needed to do this before and ended up drawing a sketched line and relating it to a view (and relating the text to a view as well. Problem is if you move the text box, the line don't go with it. Eventually gave it up as too much of a pain and used microsoft imaging in the end.

Hi Michael,

It's a good idea and should be an option. A temporary hack might be to use a font editor and make a strike thru version of your font. Might be opening a whole other can of worms but it might put a band-aid on your problem...

I do that in tables by adding an extra row. Then set two adjacent rows to half the height of a regular row. Add a blank line of text and adjust the size to get the actual text to line up with the dividing line between the two short rows.
