Is there a way of capturing the box from material properties? 1

When I use material properties to analyze a part, I get this envelope around the part. Is the a way to capture the elements or the dimensions from this envelope to use for stock size?

I think there is a script already written to do this and it is included with the default installation of V5. I could be wrong but I thought I've come across it before.

Do you have any idea what it may be called? Even a string within the name would help.

I'll have to look for it again myself but try doing a search in your install directory for .catvbs or CATScript. I think it was in either a scripts folder or a manufacturing folder.

If you are after a name, it may be related to "Bounding Box" or "Space Map". Not sure, but worth a search.

If you are on windows you can always use the print screen or alt+print screen button and past it into any picture or ms office program.
