I'm not refering to the components like gap sizes, text and arrow sizes, etc, etc. that are easily available in the menu. I'm refering to how a dimension is displayed. For example, a dual ref. dimension inch[metric] is displayed as follows:
(31.55)[(801.5)]
Our customer's long-standing standard has been
(31.55[801.5])
The only way we've found to achieve the desired results is to manually place the parentheses as a seperate piece of text after the non-ref dimension is placed. Is there access to customize some system file that controls how this is displayed? Stacked dual-ref dimensions are equally painful to place, as they require about 4x size parentheses around them.
And while I'm at it, here's another item that popped into mind. When placing text in a drawing, is there any way to override the automatic alignment (i.e. turn it off) so that the text you're trying to place doesn't keep wanting to align to other nearby text? This has been a true annoyance, but I'm an NX n00b, so I chalked it up to that.
Thank you for any help!
