Is there any element that could increase the solubility of Ti in Mg?

Hi,
I want to make Mg-Ti alloy for medical applications. But the solubility of Ti in Mg is very little, almost zero.
Is there any element that we could add to the Mg-Ti system, so we increase the solubility of Ti in Mg?

Look up binary phase diagrams, look for metals that have solubility in both Mg and Ti.
I would start with things that I know work with Ti, such as Al, V, Cr, Co, Ag, Sn, Mo, Ni and so on.
Then look to see if they have useful solubility in Mg.

unlikely to make Mg-Ti alloys using conventional techniques. You will need to go to micro-scale or nano-scale. Think about taking advantage of 3D, AM techniques.

A Mg-Ti alloy would be cool, I bet hat it would corrode so fast that it would look like it dissolves in humid air.

You should look into high entropy alloys. They are usually 5 different elements in roughly equal atomic percent. There may be something in that field that will give you the desired properties.

One other approach is to try mechanical alloying. Start with powders of the elements, weight them out and put them into a high energy ball mill (like an attritor mill) in an inert solvent, and them mill the crap out of it.
