Is there much demand for license checkout with a USB stick?

Sure would be helpful for me to borrow a license to a USB stick and not to the physical computer itself. Some of my customers are not able to share their vpn with contractors or do not have one and current borrowing is useless to me if it's not for a laptop. I definitely don't to lug around a Xeon workstation, three monitors with risers and all the other peripherals when I have a powerful workstation offsite and could run NX with a license via a USB stick.

So what do you think?...Is there much demand for license checkout with a USB stick?

Siemens stopped supporting Dongle licenses a few years ago. There apparently was no demand for this.

@Tingsryd if it's your own license, then you can have the license coded as a SENL (Standalone Node Locked), so that the license doesn't use FlexLM at all.
NX is set to look directly at the license file and validates against the USB dongle ID coded into that license file.
If the dongle isn't plugged in, NX doesn't start.

I work for the Australian/New Zealand Siemens reseller and we have lots of customers that do this.

You can't 'borrow' a license to a USB stick and then use it away from the server. That's not possible.
