Is there potential to use HEA high-entropy alloys for advanced steam cycles to 700 C? 1

I had recently become aware of a new class of materials called " high entropy alloys" , and would like to know if they have application for use in piping components that operate at 700-750 C ? Can these materials be welded?

No idea yet.
No one has made tubes, no one has tested in furnace environments, on one has done 100,000hr creep measurements.
Most of these alloys are being made to optimize strength to weight ratio, not for use at high temp.

Some of the work seems focused on 700 C applications, and there seems to be more research activity in China then in the West.
