Is there such a thing as dead soft tantalum (unalloyed)? 2

Unalloyed tantalum can be annealed in vacuum or in inert-gas atmospheres at 2400F for 1 hour. Can it be heated, as in copper, to near its critical temperature to produce a dead soft condition?
