for example you want to make some square tube with holes.
is it possible to make a script or something to do this: when you draw some shape (square, circle etc.) on a plane and then select a function to apply that tube on the line. I want something similar, like rib function, but I'd like to have saved shape in a shortcut button and I would like holes to be distributed evenly throughout the tube...

Why don't you create a design table, write rules for spacing of holes based on length, and store it in a parts catalog?

That would be the ideal route...
