I'm finally able to upgrade to a better/faster PC. But I'm having trouble decided which Wildfire to use. I've been using WF2.0 M190 on my current machine with no major issues, but I got a set of discs for WF3.0 M040 just before our maintanance ran out, and was wondering if they're worth using, or are there still too many bugs.

I have WF2.0 M230, but never bothered to upgrade.

Is there someplace I can go to see what was added with each upgrade? I've browsed PTC.com, but didn't come up with anything...

any help/recommendations are appreciated.

I have been testing various WF3 releases. I have just installed M120 with hope that it is stable enough to use. Personally, I would not use M040 but if that is all you have...

PTC has (had?) a tool called Update Adviser that I have used numerous times to compare releases. I'll be danged if I can find it on their web site at the moment. I even did a search on their site which led to many documents about it but not to the adviser itself. Maybe the adviser is on holiday.

You do know you can install multiple versions of Pro/E on the same machine don't you? I usually have 3 or 4 at a time.

No, I was not aware that you could install multiple versions. Sounds like a good way to get me confused... :)

I decided to just use the WF 2.0 M230. However, now that I got it all installed its telling me invalid ID or password. I have had this trouble before, but can't remember what I had to do. Time to start searching...
