I'm writing a spreadsheet to calculate gear ratings per ISO 6336. I did the same thing for the AGMA standards a few years ago. Big Job.
In each AGMA standard, there's a list of symbols near the beginning of the document, listing mathematical symbols and the first equation and clause in the standard where each symbol appears. This is a tremendous help when trying to actually use the content of the standard.
No such references are present in the ISO 6336 documents, which makes them extremely frustrating and time consuming to work with. It occurred to me that I'm probably not the only engineer suffering from this, and maybe someone has put together the missing reference list. Anyone know of such a list?
