I created a drawing and one of the views is created from a second part model, but I would like to remove any link to that model...make it a "dumb" drawing view. I do not want Catia to look for a model when the drawing is opened. That file has been deleted.

I thought that was what the "Isolate" command was for, but I was wrong. I isolated the view, but everytime I open the drawing, I get a window stating that Catia file the file that the isolated view was created from.

How do I accomplish this?

Thanks,

That drawing probably IS isolated - but did you delete the details in the detail view of the drawing? (or any instances of them in the main sheet)

If you did not, you had better search for them. It's easiest to search for details by opening the menu under Edit -> Links. Look for the details to highlight as you pass over them in the dialog box.

Hope that helps.

Hi,

Check Edit / Links. this will tell you what element is link in your drawing. then you can find it and isolate it.
