Some of these are described in the article link below... these methods are high pressure and high intensity methods that develop considerably more compressive stress while additionally plateauing and isotropicizing surfaces...

whats a good method for masking areas with critical very very close dimensions, that are not to be superfinished. for example .0002 tolerance journals
