issued with Catia V

I have CatiaV5 R14 (HD 2) is already installed & was trying to install Service Pack (SP4)& Hot fix.
I received 7 volume of Service Pack from IBM & was trying to install then I am getting error as below:


"There is no need to install service pack 4 in
C:/Program files/Dassault Systems/B14"

1. Does the error mean that I already have Service Pack installed?

2. Do i need to install all 7 Volume?

3. How do I know that service pack & Hot fix is installed
or not?

4. How do i uninstall only Service Pack & Hotfix, if
required?

As for the service packs, you should only need to install SP8 (assuming R14 is already installed). SPs are cumulative.

For the HotFix, it depends on the HF. I suggest you contact IBM or whoever gave you the HotFix.

uninstall hotfixes the same way you uninstall any other piece of software - Control Panel, Add/Remove software.

That is also how you know if they are installed.
