Hi all,

New to modelling water networks so please bear with me,
I am currently using EPANET to model a network to fill two large storage pipelines for pressure testing later on. I was just wondering what the best way to model this storage is. I've attempted to use a node with the demand needed to fill (240 L/s), a tank with the elevation of the proposed storage pipeline, but adjusted diameter to meet the same volume, and just a straight pipeline with the required length. I am mostly wondering how to tell when these two tanks/pipelines are filled, so I can make sure the pressure throughout the rest of the system is safe, or adjust it to be safe.

I hope that makes sense,

Thanks,
Marcus
