Issues with routing for a newbie

Hey everybody,

This is probably a simple thing, but I just can't figure it out. I have made a shape and grouped it together, but when I rotate the shape the routing of the connectors snaps to the grid, and everything falls out of line.

Is there anyway to remove the snap feature for an individual shape so I can resize and rotate it freely?
