Hey all,

last week I got the honer to work with my father in law to build a packaging machine for dry products (sugar, rise, beans etc...

he asked me because he want this one 'computer' controlled, and since I write software (Java, PHP, C, C++) and I have been doing electronics in the FAR past he though this was a good idea!

Anyways, I am up for the challenge and was looking for a good forum to start investigating websites and get in contact with fellow builders.

Next week I will post a sketch of what we are planning to build with some questions!

I suggest you do a web search. I think there are plenty of existing companies that have machines that should do what you want, at least with some tweeking. It should be more cost effective. In any case looking at what is out there can help with the design should you not find something that does work.
