Jersey barriers as pond wall?

Wondering if anyone has calculated whether a jersey barrier will withstand forces if used to create walls for a lined pond? Can you build a box out of jersey barriers, install a liner and fill it with water without the barriers sliding or tipping? Specs on barrier: 10' lengths, 4000#/10', 24" base width. 32" tall.

If you assume a coefficient of friction of .5, then resisting force is 2000 lbs per barrier. Water filled to the top of a 32" tall jersey barrier( which is unlikely) will exert a force of 2,219lbs at the centroid of the water pressure distibution exceeding the 2000 lbs..You will also have an overturning moment at the toe of the barrier at 23669 ft-lbs. If it is full size barrier, I would pin the base on both sides and fill the gaps between barriers with elastomeric or foam filler.

One more thing, if the barriers have pin connections on each end so that they can be attached to each other, it may not be necessary to pin the base.
