Hi
Present sulphur specification for Jet (aviation) fuel is 0.3 wt%, in a number of countries around the globe. Have anybody out there seen any talks about lowering the specification to e.g. 500 or 1000 wtppm, and if so are there any timeline set to it?
I would expect sulphur to be the next environmental target since gasoline and diesel are soon to get sulphur-'free' and there is a lot of talks on lowering sulphur levels in marine fuels, so I expect Jet and sulphur as the next fuel to be on the environmental agenda. Any other specification changes discussions ongoing apart from sulphur , e.g. aromatics?
Thanks
RH
