Hello All,

I'm currently working with a Japanese spline design and need assistance with finding a pdf of JIS spline standards.

Does anyone have a copy or know where I can obtain a copy?

I've also added the as found measurements for the internal spline I physical have with me. I do not have the mating external splined gear.

Internal Splines/Gear Data:
Numbers of Splines = 47T
Nominal Dia. = Ø98mm
Mod = 2 (Best Guessed)
Dia. Pitch = Ø94mm
Minor Dia. = ~Ø3.5437" (~Ø90mm)
Pin dia. = Ø0.131" (Ø3.3274mm)
Over Pins dia. = Ø97.028mm

Let me know if I need to obtain any other measurements.

Thanks

I've skimmed through that thread but didn't see any spline standards. Also, I've looked through google and couldn't find any pdf's to assist. Hoping someone has a pdf I can use quickly.

thank you,

JIS B 1601:1996 Straight-sided splines for cylindrical shafts with internal centering -- Dimensions, tolerances and verification (pdf $68 USD)
JIS B 1603:1995 Straight cylindrical involute splines -- side fit -- Generalities, dimensions and inspection (pdf $339 USD)
JIS B 4239:1999 Involute spline broaches (pdf $68 USD)
