Hi All,
Presently one our facility has operation philosophy, for jockey pump continuous operation. Fire department now requested to change it intermittent operation (ON/OFF) if fire main ring pressure reduce from 130 psig.
NFPA 20 standard say ON/OFF.
My question is, change design operation philosophy is valuable or rectify the existing pressure control system. I have experience for ON/OFF but this system is designed as per american standards for continuous operation.
