I am looking for specifications about different methods of joining sonic logging tubes (steel). These tubes have to be used for base grouting of the piles as well so the joints should not leak under certain pressure. Can I get some guidance where I can find such information.

Thanks

The application required (Sonic Logging) is not informative enough for welding requirements of tube ends.
As this specific forum is for stainless, it would help to know which type is used.
If the tubes are joined in vertical position and not rotating, some form of orbital arc welding might be suitable to provide leak free joints.
