Dear friends, I am doing FE analysing a hip joint. I have created bone models with Iges format and imported them to Ansys.
Now, I am interesting to rotate femur in acetablum in Ansys classical (for doing the analysis at different positions). I have found Vtran command for this purpose but my problem is:
how can I define a local coordinate system, that makes a rotation on a special centre after transporting a volume to it? (without changing the position of this point).

Regards

Jalil,

I believe you would be better off if you were to post your question in the ANSYS section and not here.
