Is PWHT for joints of pipe with caustic solution required in any standards or codes? Thanks a lot.

Codes and standards only provide minimum requirements for construction, and the designer is cautioned to seek expertise when required. For carbon steel pipe material that is exposed to concentrated caustic solution at or above 120 deg F, yes, PWHT is strongly recommended.

You can see NACE RP 0403 as a suitable reference for Caustic Soda service (In addition, NACE RP 0472 for welds in this service)
