I'm writing my technical paper on Kansai Airport and was hoping if i can get some extra info. about it, in terms of architectural maps, geotechnical and construction plans.

And any other articles, web sites, or books (references)....

Thank you very much.

There is a 1hr program on TV on either Discovery, PBS (Public Broadcasting Services) or TLC(The Learning Channel) Channels ,which discussed about the construction of the Kansai airport. You may need to check when they will show it again.

Also, check the Kansai Airport website at

Hope that this helps

There is a 10-page paper prepared by P. Dilley and K.Taga , titled "Kansai Internationa Airport Terminal". It is published in "Civil Engineer International" , Jan- Febr 1995 edition. I believe CEI is a british magazine, part of the Inst. of Civil Engineers of London.
It may also be in Proceedings of Inst. of Civil Engineers, Civil Engineering, 1995, 108, Feb. 2-11. Paper No. 10556

Civil engineering designer which involved in the project is
a British giant company : Ove Arup and Partners. You may need to contact them to get more info.

Hope that this helps.
