I'm trying to use parameters and formulas in order to fill out information in a .CATPart's property fields. We use the fields to create BOM's and having them fill automatically when we set up a angles, bases, etc.. will save us some time. The problem I'm having is that, I set everything up, the parameters are driving the property fields and it all looks good, but I've noticed that after I go into Properties a couple of times the parameters switch to "Active" "no" and the formulas are no longer driving the the properties. Am I forgetting to set or lock something? Or, is this some sort of glitch?........I don't know. Any insight would be appreciated.
BTW. Yes, I am out of my element working with formulas and rules and such. Just getting into them and figuring them out.
